 Van den Heuvel Wassertechnologie B.V. has been developing and producing high-grade salt electrolysis systems for the past 30 years. In future, the electrolysis systems will be offered in many other countries through the worldwide marketing and service network of the ProMinent Group. ProMaqua already offers electrolysis systems for the lower output capacity range that are mainly used for the disinfection of swimming pool water. With the CHLORINSITU® product line from Van den Heuvel, the output range will be expanded to several kilograms chlorine equivalent per hour. The technology uses both open as well as diaphragm-separated electrolysis cells. This makes it possible to effectively cover the different requirements in the wide variety of applications.
Thanks to the synergy effect of the acquired stake, system operators profit in two ways. On the one hand, the entire spectrum of water disinfection processes is available from under one roof, this means UV, ozone, chlorine dioxide, salt electrolysis as well as membrane filtration. On the other hand, complete sales and customer service access is guaranteed by the closely meshed network of the ProMinent Group, consisting of 48 company-own branches and representatives in over 60 countries.
