Ultromat® Three-Chamber Continuous Flow Systems - Perfected for Continuous Output
With corresponding design modifications, ProMinent has standardised its Ultromat® AT, AF and ATF polymer preparation and continuous flow systems. The use of identical components optimises production and spare parts stock-keeping. As part of the standardisation, the Ultromat® AF polymer preparation system has been equipped with an additional chamber in the tank.

Breaking Ground
By turning the first sod on 18th June 2008 in preparation for a new three-storey building at Heidelberg-Wieblingen ProMinent underscores Heidelberg's importance as an extremely attractive production location. The company intends to invest the sum of about 30 million Euros in this site by 2012.

From 8th to 24th August 2008 a total of 42 competitions will be held in the Olympic disciplines of swimming, springboard diving, high diving, water ball and synchronised swimming in the "Water Cube" and in the Yingdong Natatorium in Beijing.

Continuous chlorite monitoring in drinking water treatment
The increasing use of chlorine dioxide as disinfectant leads to necessary monitoring tasks – also for the resulting by-products. At the IFAT 2008 in Munich, ProMinent shows with its innovative online chlorite measuring station how the concentration of the undesired by-product chlorite can be measured continuously.

Chlorine Dioxide Produced for the First Time with PVDF Reactors
ProMinent ProMaqua presents an innovation at this years IFAT trade fair: the Bello Zon® CDVc Chlorine Dioxide system. A completely new reactor concept guarantees chlorine dioxide is produced and metered in an innovative process. Food-safe PVDF is used for the first time instead of PVC that, to date, has been in widespread use in this sector.
