		Water Treatment in Swimming Pools is a complex challenge. For decades, ProMinent has been one of the leading partners in the Swimming Pool section and has offered comprehensive solutions. Processes in Swimming Pool Water Treatment

Disinfection of Swimming Pool Water with Chlorine For chlorine-based disinfection methods, the chlorine concentration is often adjusted to values between 0.4 and 0.6 mg/l. The chemicals used are calcium hypochlorite, sodium hypochlorite and. For public pools also chlorine gas is also used.

Dosing of Flocculant in Swimming Pool Water Swimming pool water treatment includes the dosing of flocculants in order to achieve optimal filtration results. Challenge: constant and exact dosing of small amounts. No Problem for ProMinent Metering Pumps.

pH Correction in Swimming Pools The pH value has an influence on the disinfection capacity and flocculation should be maintained between 6.8 and 7.2 pH.

Oxidation/Disinfection of Swimming Pool Water with Ultraviolet Light and Ozone Complimenting conventional disinfection with chlorine, disinfection or oxidation steps with Ultraviolet light and Ozone are also available. Both UV plants and Ozone plants can handle difficult conditions and/or reduce the use of sodium hypochlorite to a minimum.

Softening Processes in Swimming Pool Technology With Water Softeners type DOUCEMAT by ProMinent, precipitations on pipings, basin walls, chillers or attraction walls are avoided. The result is, in addition to a longer lifetime of the steam raising units, pure bathing fun.

DULCO®flex DF4a Peristaltic Pump for Flocculant Metering The DULCO®flex DF4a peristaltic pump has been specifically developed for flocculant metering applications. It is used wherever flocculants needs to be added constantly and accurately to treated water. Typical applications include swimming pools and whirlpools.

Perestaltic Pump DULCO®flex DF3a The DULCO®flex DF3a peristaltic pump has been specifically developed for dosing fragrances in wellness facilities. This pump can be used wherever it is necessary to deliver fragrances in small quantities.

DULCO®flex The best solutions are simple: The peristaltic pump DULCO®flex is a functional and inexpensive solution for a low-noise dosing of disinfectants, chemicals for pH-correction or scents in the sauna.

DULCOMARIN® II Pool Controller The first bus system for networking hi-tech equipment used in swimming pools. Simple operation using a large illuminated colour display regulates up to 16 filtration cycles with display via a built-in webserver* and videographic recorder*.

pH Measurement The pH value describes the acidity or alkalinity of a medium and thus constitutes one of the most important chemical variables. The online measurement and the adjustment of the pH value are used at various process stages in water treatment, the industrial production and at quality controls for fluids.

Chlorine Measurement Chlorine compounds are considered world-wide to be the most important water disinfectant class as to their quantity. Their applications range from drinking water generation to swimming pool water disinfection - not to forget industrial water treatment like e.g. cooling and process water treatment.

Redox Measurement The Redox potential quantifies the existence of oxidants or reducing agents in a medium. The measurement of this parameter is relatively cost-efficient, however, it has also some disadvantages: No selective determination of a defined oxidant or reducing agent, strong pH dependence, the measuring signal takes a saturation curve with increasing concentration.

Bono Zon® Ozone Plant Performance range 80 – 720 g/h (larger plants on request) A range of compact ozone plants with integrated gas conditioning application. Bono Zon® plants work using positive suction pressure and are therefore particularly reliable.

Ozone generating system OZONFILT®OZMa Capacity range 70 - 245 g/h Infinitely variable adjustment of required ozone quantity between 3 and 100 % of rated output, ozone output shown in g/h.

Dulcodes UV Plants With ProMinent Dulcodes UV Plants, reliable and chemical-free water treatment for disinfection purposes and degradation of unwanted components are possible. Easy installation, low maintenance and a variety of types, result in most economical projects for multiple applications.

Dulco®Zon Electrolysis Plants Capacity: 12 – 48 g Cl2/h The alternative to bleach. Chlorine produced directly on site by electrolysis, from harmless common salt, represents an extremely economical alternative to other chlorine products, and without the need to store hazardous chemicals.

DULCODOS® eco metering stations with tanks DULCODOS® eco metering stations are most suitable for the storage and dosing of fluid chemicals. A selection system (Identity Code) helps to easily, quickly and flexibly adjust the metering station to the Metering task.

DULCODOS® Pool Dosing Systems for Swimming Pools The dosing systems DULCODOS® Pool are particullarly designed for the conditioning of swimming pool water. Premounted and plug&play DULCODOS® Pool dosing systems assume dosing and controlling plants for the dosing of Sodium Hypochlorite or activated Oxygen and for measuring/controlling of the parameters pH, Chlorine and/or Redox.

Integrated Filters and Softeners We also integrate other filter and softener products into complete water treatment solutions that our business area, Water Treatment Solutions, offers to specific industries. However, we do not offer these products individually.
